I would have finished this damned long-champion run for it was going too well untill I met this abominable creature. Imagine the look on my face when collected highwayman crits leaper for half healthbar and poisons him instantly dealing deathblow. Finally I managed to crush the collector. Then wyrd heal for 1 hp and then another resisted deathblow. ![]() ![]() Then occultist ends up in a world of hurt resisting deathblow for 4 (I counted 5 but I didn't get the achivement) consecutive times. Id view the collector as a burn fight you need to kill him before him and his heads kill you while using stuns to help deal with the damage coming in and if you have it using guards to not die (guards are super useful on this fight)Īlso like you said sometimes you just get unlucky and he spams lifesteal and keeps critting with it and in those situations you're basically just screwed honestly sometimes it happens and he just is being a jerk. It is pretty pointless to kill the heads in my eyes because if you kill them he just immediately summons more and it just seems like a waste. When the heads come out you want to stun the Man at Arms head if he is guarding the collector if not stun the vestal head then stun the highwayman head. ![]() Now the general strat for the collector since I just got this ♥♥♥♥ like a total of 15 or more times in my ng+ game is you want to stun him the moment you meet him and sink as much damage into him before he summons the heads. Typically you want a party that can hit the 3-4 ranks and a party that has stuns a pull forward can be used to make the collector easier to hit with people like the leper though. That being said there are some situations where you may have a party who just cannot kill him. You can't plan a party around a collector because he is random.
